Holiday Happenings in the 28th District

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the 28th District!

This is former Hamilton County Commissioner, Chris Monzel, and this is the Monzel Report.

With the Thanksgiving Holiday the official Christmas season has been kicked-off and here are a few holiday activities that your family can enjoy.

The Warm 98 Ice Rink at Summit Park in Blue Ash is back for its third season and is now open. What a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get in the holiday spirt. You can visit for more information.

Another great holiday activity is Holiday in Lights in Sharonville. Holidays in Lights is an affordable outdoor light display at Sharon Woods, a Great Park of Hamilton County, viewed by guests from the comfort of their own vehicle. Holiday in Lights is built with over 1 million lights and over 250 light displays and has been an established Cincinnati holiday family tradition for over 28 years! A portion of the proceeds goes directly to A Child’s Hope International to feed starving children around the world! Help us make a difference and get into the Christmas Spirit!

The charming light show is built over a mile of wooded roadway, the only drive through light show through the woods of a beautiful Hamilton County park! The holiday themed displays showcase everything from Santa Claus and his elves to every animal on the ark. There’s no need to bundle up to enjoy Holiday in Lights; simply warm up the car, round up your friends, family, or a special date, and head to Sharon Woods. It’s that easy. Make sure to visit Santaland before or after you drive through the lights for the full Holiday in Lights experience!
