A tradition unlike any other, Opening Day in Cincinnati! Chris Monzel was excited to celebrate another opening day by walking in the parade downtown. For some city’s, opening day for baseball is just another typical Monday. For Cincinnati, it’s a holiday! America’s pastime is far from it in Cincinnati. Chris Monzel understands how important the Cincinnati Red’s tradition is. Being the first Major League Baseball team is something our city will never forget. “It’s an honor and privilege to walk in the parade each year,” Chris Monzel exclaims. The Hamilton County Commissioner is proud to be a part of this tradition.
Along with his friends and family, Chris acknowledges that the Opening Day Parade in Cincinnati instills life in the city. This is just one of the many elements that makes Cincinnati such a unique city. An event like this that brings friends, family, and employees together can have a very positive influence within the city.
